violin basses

Hello everybody,

since my website violinbasses.com (aka fuenfhunderteins.de) is pretty often frequented from here I became aware of sovietguitars.com.

The good thing is: I found new violin basses that I would like to put into my gallery e.g. here or here.

The bad thing: I am not able to write russian to ask in these threads for picture permissions or data like factory names of these basses.

So here is my request: if anyone of you guys is able to do that for me I would be very thankful - as a matter of course I will mention all names of helpers in the gallery in case it is not unwanted. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello! The first link: this e-bass was official called Electric Guitar "Bass", non-official - Odessa Violin-Bass because it was produced at the Factory of Musical instruments in the town of Odessa (USSR, now Ukraine). The second link - it`s unknown e-bass, we don`t know exactly what is it. As far as I understand You would like to get the photos of these basses?

Welcome to sovietguitars, Uli!
Don't worry about not being to write Russian - this is exactly what the English section of the website is for: you can ask your questions here on specific instruments/threads that interest you and we'll help you get the info you need.

Uli, as far as the second link("Tajfun") there's been no consensus reached on the origins of that instrument - do you have any ideas?

Hi folks,
thank you very much for that warm welcome!

@v-dmisay:
the quality of the pictures is sufficient, but I hesitate to publish them without the ok of the original owners...

@shock07:
of course your link would be fine too...I only didn't find it yet. I only followed sources that the statistics of my website told me - that means threads where a link to my site is enclosed

@shlepakoff:
The way they wrote the name 'Taifun' on it reminds me a bit on the polish defils. But no, not a real idea, sorry!

Uli, since no one has expressed any objections, feel free to go ahead and use the info/photos you are interested in adding to your website. Also, Я-Ха who is the owner of the Muzeum is okay with you using the data available on: [link].
If you need any help, including translating the info that interests you, please let me know

Thank you so much Ilya - I'm going to add information on the according sites that the picture material is used by kind permission of the sovierguitars forum - if noone of you guys will disagree.

Thanks again to everybody involved in that case and for being that friendly to your guests!
